I never set out to be a designer. I wanted to be a fighter pilot.
For years, that was the only dream. I studied sciences, read every book on aviation I could find, even practiced flight drills in my room. It all came crashing down after a motorcycle accident, a fractured leg, a dislocated back, and a failed medical exam that ended everything I’d worked for.
I didn’t have a Plan B. For the first time, I was completely lost.
Then one day, a friend told me about the new iPhone. I watched the keynote, expecting to be impressed by the tech, but what caught me was the design. The clarity. The emotion. I didn’t know what UX was, but I knew I felt something, something I hadn’t felt since flying.
Design became my new compass. I started with graphic design, the only thing accessible at the time, and slowly worked my way forward. What began as curiosity turned into craft, and eventually, a career in product design.
Nearly a decade in, I’ve worked across SaaS, fintech, healthcare, and e-commerce, building tools that solve real problems for real people. I’ve led teams, shipped complex products, and learned that the best design isn’t loud, it’s honest. It earns trust. It feels right.
Today, I design with one goal in mind, to make technology feel a little more human.
Outside work, you’ll find me chasing my son around the house, bingeing old movies with my wife, or walking aimlessly with a camera in hand. I still believe that good food and unexpected journeys can change your day, or your life.
And I still design with the same feeling I had watching that keynote, the moment I found a new dream, hidden in the details.
